Dr. Amy Johnstone and Dr. Robyn Collins have known each other and worked together for over twelve years. They both attended Ohio State University and worked in the same practice before starting this hospital. They wanted to create a unique veterinary hospital which has resulted in this facility that offers comfort and care to its clients and pets.

Amy L. Johnstone, DVM grew up in the Cincinnati area. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Xavier University and her doctorate from Ohio State University. She loves Cincinnati and chose to remain in the area to be in contact with her large, closely knit family.

Becoming a veterinarian began as a childhood dream and co-owning her own practice is the icing on the cake! She and husband Kevin have two cats;  Rudi and Flounder and a black lab named Porter. Her hobbies include anything that has to do with the outdoors. She is happiest when camping or gardening.

Robyn T. Collins, DVM , co-owner of Liberty Veterinary Hospital,  also grew up in the Cincinnati area. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Washington University in St. Louis & graduated from Ohio State along with Dr. Johnstone in 1991. Her two sons, many pets, and Disney fascination keep her occupied outside of the office.  Be sure to count the Mickey's in exam room 2 on your next visit.

Holly Gossett, DVM, an Associate of Liberty Veterinary Hospital, earned her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science at the University of Maryland in her home state.  She also obtained her Doctorate from O.S.U. in 1991.  Doctor Gossett comes to us from the Dayton Emergency Veterinary Clinic and has an interest in exotic pets.  She enjoys outdoor activities with her family and their array of pets including a guinea pig, dogs, cats, a gecko, fish and birds.
